If economic and social justice is not put in place the have-nots will start taking from the have's. Serious attention needs to be placed on the economic development of Somalia and other areas of Africa. If a plan is not put in place to equalize this global situation of unbalanced economics, then these attacks by the pirates will continue. CommentsI was thinking the same thing. Its funny how the USA "invades" nations around the world to "help" and then helps themselves to nations one true money maker oil. What if the pirates took the ship over and said that they were going to help the crew make a safe passage through the dangerous waters for a fee of 3 million dollars. Would that be alright? Somalia should just tax the shipping companies for using trading routes near there shores. They could call it a "incase" tax. Like incase a drunk captain happens to run aground and spill millions of barrels of oil into the water and ruin the eco system off of somalia at least there would be money to clean it up. Maybe Lehman Brothers, Bear Sterns or Goldman Sachs should have looked into investing with the Pirates. They seem to be doing a lot better than my 401k at the moment. Peace Teddyp18
