This is a new music video off of Rhymefest's El Che album that I would like to share with you. If anyone has been to the hood there are two things that you are sure to find, which are liquor stores and corner churches. Both sell a way of escaping the harsh reality of life in the hood. In stead of looking for a pie in the sky, people should be working on changing the reality in which they live. Pop the video and let Rhymefest school you a little on the game that is being ran in some of the churches that are praying on the hopes of individuals. Rhymefest featuring John Mayer - Letter 11/28/2009
Rhymefest has always brought the heat and has not got the shine that he deserves. I wanted to share his song Letter that was not included on his new album El-Che. It is funny how Wale got this track on his album with the same name and beat, I guess that is the way it is as Tupac would say. Check the song out, I think that Fest always pour his heart into his songs. At the end of the day who do you think did a better job bringing the beat to its full potential? The Rap Game Has Become the New WWF 05/10/2009
I am just sitting back and watching all of new goofy characters popping up pretending to be something that they are not. Just like the WWF with Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior people are taking sides in little hip hop beefs and arguing why their artist is better than the next. This is getting plain silly and these grown ass fans don’t see that they are part taking in a male's version of a soap opera. I know you guys go to all the blogs to get the latest gossip on your wrestler, excuse me I meant to say rapper. Rhymefest-Stolen 05/03/2009
Since a lot of individuals get their hip hop from main stream media there is a lot of intellectual music that can be found in Hip Hop that is not being shown. I like how Rhymefest compares the conflict in Africa with the question on how popular rappers have not voiced their opinion on the issue.
