Game On a Nation: Hip Hop Intellectual

Again I find myself at the keyboard late at night. And I want to let all of these ladies that read this site to love yourself regardless of your size. And for my big bone girls, this one's for you. "Aint Nothing Wrong"

While I do touch on serious issues on this site, Hip Hop is also fun and laid back. I want to take a few moments to dedicate this entry to my boy 'D' and show him a crystal ball on how we will look when we are in our 70's. Stay Up!

Its almost one o'clock in the morning and I have to hit you with the funk to help you go to bed. These are some fly young brothers from Texas who are doing their thing without industry help, man the sound is so funky. They need to be signed. Hip Hop comes in all forms and colors. Sit back and take a sip of a night cap and fall asleep with me.

With the current economy some of us are working jobs that we hate, and some of us wish we had jobs but this goes out to everyone on the grind.

Hip Hop's roots are always in the art of storytelling and when you are an artist that utilizes it, it is always pure magic. Royce 5'9 did it, and gives all guys a cautionary tale of going out to the club to chase tail.

I’m back again snitches! I came across this hot track that is better than 80% of the rappers that are out now. It more of a parody of the conspicuous consumption that is showcased in main stream hip hop, and it also shows that a nice beat will make anything sound good.

Note: I bet you a $100 you will be bouncing your head. LOL. "My waiter got a butler and my butler got a waiter."

Diversity in any field or art helps improve and grow it, as long as what the person is contributing is sincere. One thing about Asher is that he fell in love with Hip Hop when he heard Jay-Z's Hard Knock Life and he states that he is first a fan of Hip Hop before being an artist.

Listen to the freshman in his own words, and Hip Hop welcomes you with open arms. By the way his album drops today (I’m not getting paid for saying it). Do you think his record sales will crush Jadakiss in his first week?

To my readers out there, welcome back and its good to see you again. I am going to pour you another cup of knowledge from my teapot. If you ever wondered why the island of Jamaica is poor, I have a great film that explains and breaks down the economic situation there for you. The name of the film is "Life and Debt" and the director Stephanie Black does a beautiful job of explaining the IMF and global economics.

With the current economy in shambles, I came across a video where the people of Zimbabwe were trading gold for bread. But instead of just watching the video, a critical thought came into my mind. "Why is Zimbabwe trading Gold for Bread?" It has to do with hyperinflation, basically when the currency of that nation loses it value. 

The hyperinflation started when Robert Mugabe began a program of land reforms that primarily took land from white farmers and redistributed the land and assets to black farmers. It is the European nations that control the World Bank and have the tools to affect economies of small nations for taking any action which they see as unfavorable. Look at Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, and Ghana, for example.

I suggest that you read, "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins.

Hi there folks in internet land, there is a new movie coming out based on true events that occurred in the midst of the 2000 elections. The police were using military techniques and rounding up individuals in black communities and charging them will false crimes. You would think that this type of stuff only occurred in the 60's.
